Our Story
The GPS story starts long before 2009. Forty years ago, Said Botros pioneered the concept of HR outsourcing in Egypt — and as Managing Director built what became the largest HR outsourcing firm in the country. In 2009 he brought that experience to a new venture in Cairo: GPS. The idea was simple: give companies operating in Egypt a partner that handles HR with the rigour of an international consulting firm and the local depth of a team that has navigated every corner of Egyptian employment regulation.
From the beginning, GPS invested in enterprise-grade systems — including an SAP-implemented HR platform — at a time when few local firms did. That decision shaped everything that followed: accurate payroll at scale, audit-ready records, and compliance clients can verify rather than take on faith.
Fifteen years on, GPS manages the HR operations of organisations across banking, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, construction, FMCG, and technology — more than 25,000 employees across a client base of over 100 organisations, from Egyptian market leaders to global multinationals. Local expertise, international standards, and 40 years of knowing this industry better than anyone.
